“My friend recommended this place, and it was amazing! I walked inside only to be in awe of the HUGE sumo wrestler statues. We chose the hibachi side and the entertainment provided by the cook was so worth it. The food was not only delicious, but there was a generous amount, as well.

I had fried rice, lobster, scallops, shrimp, and vegetables. The price was worth every penny.”

“What an incredible menu! I didn't know where to start as a first time visitor.

Should I go for sushi, sashimi, or steak? It all sounded so inviting. I'll be in the neighborhood for a month, so there will surely be an opportunity to try again, so I opted to start with the Sumo Deluxe Combo.

I'm so glad I did. It was more food than I could finish in one go, but I thoroughly enjoyed trying. While I was enjoying my dish, I saw servers pass by with some very appetizing looking sushi and sashimi plates.



It only made me think, yep, I need to spend some more time here during the weeks I'll be in the area. Keep my seat warm, I'll be back. Ample parking with easy access for people with disabilities.”

“Delicious food! I recommend getting the hibachi. It’s fun to watch and a great date idea or night out with family and friends.

The shrimp is my favorite but the chicken, salmon, and steak are all delicious, too. I love their crab rangoon, which is on the sweeter side. The mixed drinks are yummy, as well. Service is always an A+. My favorite sushi and hibachi spot in Madison!”
